ACTION SONG
Chitti Chilakamma an action song was sung by 2nd class students from M.U.P.School Sannidhi Street, Sri Kalahasti.
KANGAROO

Everybody knows about the kangaroo, the tall marsupial that
lives in Australia, but when settlers first went there, they were amazed
and had never seen anything like them. They asked an aborigine what the
animals were called. He replied, "Kangaroo," so that is what the settlers
called them. Little did they know, kangaroo is an aboriginal phrase
meaning, "I don't understand your question."

Honesty is still the best policy
all over India, about their values of life.
He announced that in their court, there is leather bag and in
it there are some seeds.while returning home he asked them to take some seeds with them and they must put them in a good
soil in a pot and look afterthe plants very well.
He would hold a competition in the next year's Diwali festival and that the
best plants would be awarded suitably.
Everyone did what was told to him. A year passed quickly. And next
year in a big hall, there were hundreds of pots and a great variety
of plants-a great scene.
Except one pot in which the soil was there and no plant! The owner
was standing quietly and seemingly ashamed of himself!
The king called him on the stage. He asked him what
happened and he told him the truth. He planted the seed which he was
given – but nothing happened!
The king declared him the winner!
Everyone was shocked. It was announced, "Gentlemen! The seeds I gave
you were boiled seeds. You planted them and nothing happened! You
acted smartly and used some other seeds.
This man was honest to his work and, therefore he did not cheat me
or himself!"

Srinivasa Ramanujan
Ramanujan was a great Indian Mathematician. Professor Hardy was his associate. It is Hardy who brought Ramanujan to Cambridge.
Ramanujan was once in a hospital bedridden. Hardy came to see him in a Taxi. Its number was 1729 which Hardy said a boring number.
But Ramanujan said that it is the only number that can be expressed as the sum of two cubes in two different ways.
= 10 cube+9 cube =1000 +729
